A leading client in the steel and pipe manufacturing sector is seeking a Office & Scale Operations Assistant to join their team at their Thunder Bay, ON recycling and scrap yard facility. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment and enjoy a mix of administrative and operational responsibilities.
This hybrid role combines front-office administrative tasks with hands-on scale operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately weighing and inspecting incoming materials such as scrap metal, industrial recyclables, and spare parts. They will ensure all transactions are conducted with precision, efficiency, and a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
