Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety standards.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; develop corrective and preventive action plans.
Provide EHS training and toolbox talks to employees, contractors, and site personnel.
Support environmental permitting, monitoring, and reporting activities related to water use, emissions, and biodiversity.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to integrate EHS considerations into project planning and execution.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders as needed.

Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
510 years of EHS experience, preferably in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
Experience working on hydropower or large-scale civil infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of relevant EHS legislation, standards, and best practices (e.g., OHSA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Certification in CRSP, CSP, or similar designation is an asset.
Ability to travel to project sites as required.
