Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a talented and dedicated Logistics Technician to work for one of our largest technology clients in the Greater Toronto area. This is an exciting role for those looking to gain fundamental experience within the IT world. We are seeking candidates with a background in logistics, warehousing, IT Support, Cabling, and/or heavy machinery. Candidates must have knowledge of Microsoft office suite and a team first mentality.

Expected tasks include:

Performs assigned tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations.
Leverages process knowledge and best judgment to complete next task without direct supervision.
Performs inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity.
Performs destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all documented procedures and runbooks

Required Skills & Experience

- 1+ year experience supply chain in an IT environment, inventory management, retail management
- Previous inventory management system experience- tracking POs, updating shipping/receiving information
- Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- High school diploma
- Excellent attitude, eager to learn, extremely reliable, hard working, & proactive
