Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a technically-driven Application Architect to join one of Canada's largest retail companies. The successful individual will lead a strategic migration initiative—transitioning from a third-party SaaS solution back to their internal legacy Order Management System (OMS). This high-impact role is central to streamlining operations, reducing costs, and simplifying our dual OMS architecture.

Required Skills & Experience

-3+ years of experience as an Application or Solution Architect.
-Solid background in software development, within the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
-Proven experience with Order Management Systems (OMS).
-Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and workflows.
-Demonstrated success in leading migration projects.
-Hands-on, collaborative approach with the ability to support and guide developers.
-Experience designing scalable microservices and robust API solutions.
-Ability to balance technical depth with business context
-Familiarity with middleware technologies and legacy system integration.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Prior experience transitioning from a developer role into architecture.
-Exposure to front-end development (any language or framework).
