Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining long-range plans to improve maintenance activities while providing technical assistance to the supported manufacturing departments. This role is accountable for the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment in support of SPQRC (Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost) initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Implement and actively support corporate safety policies, initiatives, and plant housekeeping standards.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions, determine root causes, and initiate immediate and long-term corrective actions.
Support the plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost (SPQRC) goals.
Supervise construction and maintenance projects.
Assist with the implementation of divisional and corporate policies.
Maintain schedule adherence and quality requirements.
Train, develop, coach, and evaluate employees.
Ensure compliance with Local and National Labor Agreements and support divisional and corporate policies.
Initiate and coordinate with internal and external resources as required to resolve issues.
Implement planned and preventive maintenance activities.
Complete work assignments within budget, manpower, and timing constraints.
Effectively manage personnel, materials, and equipment to support plant operations.

Required Skills & Experience
Willingness to work any assigned shift, including daily, weekend, and holiday overtime as required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts.
Experience working in machine, assembly, and/or facility environments.
Knowledge of and ability to ensure a safe industrial work environment.
Working knowledge of basic math, including trigonometry.
Experience with clerical work, data gathering, and machine studies.
Proven experience supervising a multi‑trade workforce.
Strong understanding of tooling, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
Successful completion of behavior‑based competency assessments (e.g., DDI), demonstrating learning agility, adaptability, initiative, motivation, decision‑making, results orientation, teamwork, empowerment, organization, and planning skills.
High analytical capability in complex problem-solving environments.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and partner effectively with others.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience using Lotus Notes or similar email and communication tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and partner with senior leadership to analyze and resolve issues.
Education & Experience
Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
Skilled trades training or equivalent technical background.
5–7 years of relevant maintenance and supervisory experience required.
