Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior QA Lead to own and elevate quality across a high-volume, transaction-driven platform supporting ordering, payments, and loyalty programs. This role is focused on preventing production issues—especially under peak load—and ensuring systems perform reliably in real-world conditions.

Responsibilities:
• Define and implement QA strategy, frameworks, and processes
• Build and lead the QA function and team
• Own end-to-end testing coverage across the platform
• Ensure product quality, performance, and reliability
•Lead release decisions—balancing speed with production stability

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in QA, with 3+ years leading teams or owning quality
• Experience in e-commerce, ordering, POS, or payment systems
• Strong understanding of high-volume, business-critical platforms
• Background testing transactions, loyalty logic, and payment workflows
• Strong “break the system” mindset with high attention to detail
• Expertise in:
○ Automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
○ API testing and SQL validation
○ Performance testing and high-load simulation
• Ability to design test plans and frameworks, not just execute tests
• Proven experience leading QA teams and scaling quality practices
• Proven ability to leverage AI to:
○ Generate test scenarios and data
○ Expand automation coverage
○ Improve testing efficiency at scale

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Restaurant/QSR or retail tech experience
• POS integrations (Square, Toast, Clover, etc.)
• Performance tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)
• Experience preventing or mitigating major production incidents
