Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Manager of Google Workplace and Collaboration to lead a high‑performing team supporting multi‑cloud initiatives across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and various SaaS integrations. This leader will oversee cloud architecture, deployment, security governance, and stakeholder engagement while guiding a team of seven engineers and administrators.
The ideal candidate is hands‑on, technically strong, and comfortable presenting solutions to leadership. They bring deep cloud expertise, excellent communication, and proven experience managing both people and enterprise-level cloud environments.
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
-Collaboration Administration: Serves as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) and administrator for Google Workspace and related collaboration tools, ensuring security, compliance, and optimal configuration.
-Cloud Administration: Manages and supports Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring secure and efficient cloud infrastructure operations.
-ITIL Governance: Demonstrates strong knowledge of the ITIL framework; owns and executes Incident,Problem, and --Change Management processes for collaboration services to minimize business disruption.
-Automation & Monitoring: Develops and implements a robust infrastructure monitoring strategy and engageswith the Infrastructure automation function to drive efficiency and reduce manual operational effort.
-Project Management: Develops comprehensive technical project plans and manages the execution of complex collaboration and cloud migration projects from initiation to closure.
-Product Selection: Engages with the Infrastructure architecture function and leads the product selection process for new collaboration technologies and SaaS tools, ensuring alignment with technical requirement sand business goals.
-Governance: Ensures and manages governance and maintenance of the collaboration architecture landscape and roadmap.
-Risk Management: Establishes and maintains effective relationships with process owners/sites to proactively assess business risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Training: Evaluates general and specific training needs; delivers training to support the adoption of collaboration tools and associated operational frameworks.
-Communication: Communicates governance and operational objectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and digital dexterity.

Required Skills & Experience
-10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or related IT roles
- hands-on experience deploying or migrating enterprise cloud workloads
Strong expertise in:
-Google Workspace & Google Cloud Platform
-Microsoft Azure (MOST IMPORTANT)
-AWS cloud
-IAM, cloud networking, and cloud security
-Experience deploying cloud services, integrating SaaS applications, and administering enterprise cloud platforms
-Proven people leadership experience (team leadership, performance coaching, delegation)
-Strong stakeholder management skills—comfortable communicating with directors, leadership teams, and business partners
-Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Project management experience or familiarity working within a PMO
-Background with scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
