Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Release Manager to join one of our large banking clients on a 6 month contract. This individual will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and driving the successful implementation of scheduled storage migration–related changes across multiple Lines of Business. Operating under the direction of the Project Manager and Program Manager, this role ensures changes are properly planned, validated, communicated, and executed within approved change windows while maintaining overall platform and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities
-Drive the implementation of scheduled infrastructure and storage migration changes
-Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure:
Changes are properly scheduled and approved
Appropriate validation and readiness activities are completed, particularly for critical applications
-Manage and oversee change execution within approved change windows, ensuring adherence to change governance standards
-Actively monitor change progress and escalate risks, issues, or blockers as required
-Communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and management throughout the change lifecycle
-Ensure changes are executed safely with minimal service disruption and strong operational discipline
-Provide transparent updates to management, including communicating potential issues or bad news early

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
-Strong, hands‑on knowledge of Change Management processes in large enterprise environments
-Experience working within a formal ITSM framework
-Practical experience using ServiceNow ITSM for change lifecycle management
Proven ability to coordinate and run technical and stakeholder meetings, drive discussions toward a clear decisions and outcomes
-Think quickly and problem‑solve in live change or incident scenarios
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Comfortable working in fast‑paced, change‑heavy environments
-Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-ITSM certification
-Exposure to JIRA, Confluence, and Agile / Scrum‑based teams
- Previous experience supporting: large‑scale migrations, platform or infrastructure transformation initiatives
-Banking or regulated enterprise environment experience
