Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Product Manager to support a top retail client with On-Site Search and Discovery. They will lead the optimization of search relevance, ranking, filtering, and customer discovery experiences across digital platforms. The role blends strong quantitative and business acumen, applied AI experience, and hands-on product leadership, with direct accountability for search performance, customer experience and commercial outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings a data-driven mindset, experience applying AI or advanced analytics to real product problems, and a proven ability to lead people while partnering closely with engineering, data science, UX, and senior business stakeholders.

The role includes responsibility for managing two existing direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for On Site Search and discovery experiences, including relevance, ranking, filtering, and facets
• Drive measurable improvements in search performance, such as conversion, engagement, revenue impact, and customer satisfaction
• Use data, analytics, and experimentation to inform prioritization, trade offs, and product decisions
• Apply or partner on AI driven and algorithmic solutions to improve search quality and customer intent matching
• Translate complex business and technical problems into clear product requirements and user stories
• Lead cross functional collaboration with Engineering, Data Science, UX, Analytics, and eCommerce leadership
• Manage and coach 2 direct reports, supporting performance, development, and execution
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure successful delivery, rollout, and adoption of product initiatives
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform long term search and discovery strategy

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of Product Management experience in eCommerce, Search, or technology-drive products.
• Strong quantitative and analytical acumen, with the ability to use math, data, and KPIs to guide product decisions.
• Proven business ownership, including experience influencing or owning metrics tied to revenue, conversion, or earning targets.
• Applied AI experience (beyond basic chatbot usage - i.e., demonstrating problem-solving through AI- or ML-enabled features, tools, or experimentation)
• Minimum 1+ year of direct people management experience, including coaching and performance support.
• Strong ability to translate business and customer needs into product strategy, roadmaps, and execution plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work onsite in North York five days per week.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Direct experience with On Site Search, discovery, or adjacent domains (e.g., relevance, ranking, SEO, filtering/facets)
• Experience with Filtering, Facets, or Navigation systems
• Exposure to large scale eCommerce, retail, clickstream, or customer behavior data
• Experience partnering closely with Data Science or Machine Learning teams
