Insight Global is looking for a Sr Quality Assurance Analyst who will play a pivotal role in the software delivery process to deliver superior quality software solutions to an international market.
Insight Global is looking for a hands-on senior quality assurance analyst to lead POSH system/integration. The position will entail interacting with other QA analysts, business analysts, project leaders/managers, programmers, and programmer analysts to fully define and document testing requirements, documentation needs, meeting corporate policy requirements with respect to testing efforts and efficient execution of test plans to meet demanding schedule requirements.
As a part of the POSH business unit, you will be instrumental in managing testing efforts, provide guidance/oversight to the group (both development and business partners), manage the testing scheduling, and execution of the testing plans to ensure meeting targeted delivery dates with a high level of quality.
Day to Day:
Clearly communicate with other teams to understand and define testing efforts.
Develop/create test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size.
Complete testing via ATM simulators (Paragon) and network testing with other simulators.
Validating that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
Reviewing user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable.
UAT defect tracking.
Create/maintain multiple test environments and test data sets.
Gatekeeping efforts to ensure corporate policy is maintained from a testing perspective.
Creating related documentation user guides, release notes, etc.

Community College or higher, specializing in Computer Science related studies (or equivalent work experience), with at least five (5) full years of related work experience.
3+ years in a QA Lead role
Extensive knowledge of payment industry standards such as ISO8583, EMV, PCI
Experience utilizing payment related test tools such as Paragon ATM simulator, ADVT, MTIP, transaction simulators.
Proficient working in a Microsoft Windows environment, web-based applications, and dealing with hardware and software compatibility issues.
Excellent knowledge of SQL statements, with DB2 knowledge considered an asset.
Extensive experience following testing processes and methodologies in a QA role.
Extensive experience with formal testing methodology and software failure analysis.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and fault isolation skills.
Outstanding written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Experience in ATM functionality testing
A good understanding of the financial industry, self-service financial products, switching, transaction processing and settlement and reconciliation
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2 databases
Can-do attitude with a focus on meeting tight delivery dates with impeccable quality.
Ability to work independently under limited direction.
Participate as an active member of a small group.
Strong attention to detail, self-starter with the ability to motivate self and co-workers.
Banking/Financial industry experience
