Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior QA Tester to join a leading Courier and Logistics company in Mississauga. This is a remote role that requires occasional on site visits to Purolator for project related meetings.

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Tester to support quality assurance activities for the Enterprise Service Directory (ESD) project. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, integration testing, and defect management.
The candidate should be self-driven, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced enterprise environment involving complex integrations and multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities
Test Execution & Validation
• Perform:
o Functional testing
o Regression testing
o Integration testing
o API testing
o End-to-end testing
• Validate enterprise integrations and data flows across systems.
• Review requirements and identify test scenarios, edge cases, and gaps.
• Prepare and execute detailed test cases and test data.

Automation Testing
• Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using:
o Selenium
o RestAssured
o TestNG
• Analyze automation execution results and troubleshoot failures.
• Support automation framework enhancements and reusable components.
• Understand and review TestNG reporting including pass/fail counts and execution status.

Jira & Defect Management
• Log, track, retest, and manage defects using Jira.
• Participate in defect triage meetings.
• Work closely with developers and business teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and traceability.

Collaboration & Agile Delivery
• Work closely with QA Leads, developers, architects, BAs, DevOps, and operations teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.
• Support deployment validation and production verification activities.

Continuous Improvement
• Contribute ideas to improve QA processes, automation efficiency, and testing quality.
• Support modern QA practices and AI-enabled testing initiatives where applicable.
• Continuously learn and adapt to evolving technologies and project needs.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience working on enterprise integration projects.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Basic understanding of AI-enabled QA tools or Jira integrations is an asset.
- Experience working with cross-functional enterprise teams.
