Job Description

Insight Global is assisting a large retail client in hiring a Senior Manager of Store Space Design and BIM Management. This candidate should have experience with space planning, BIM, and leadership skills as they will be managing a team of 6 store space planners. They will be responsible for allocating them to different projects based on the other Senior Managers regions and applicable projects. They will also be responsible for QA of work of their team members, and standardizing design practices to ensure each designer and region has a consistent design every time.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2-3 years of past people management experience (they will manage a team of 6 in this role)
- 7-15 years of experience working within design (space planner or design manager)
-2+ recent years of experience working within big box retail environment
• BIM / ACC / QA/QC Management and Standards Development
• Proficiency with Revit/Revit Families
• Proficiency of Gen AI tools – how can we do QA and be more efficient with task using AI and tools such as Autodesk
• Ability to learn and apply AI principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PPT, Bluebeam
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and project management
• Tie into Walmart vision
- Strong understanding of having an enterprise center of excellence standard
- Comfortable with working on-site 5 days per week
