Job Description
The Designer will provide
drafting and detailing support for structural design of the BWRX-300 Reactor Building from
preliminary phase through construction documents.
Preparation of 3D Revit structural models and 2D drawings and details of structural building
systems.
• Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 3D models, 2D cross
sections, section details, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support
analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection.
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a structural discipline, analytical thinking, and technical
experience to execute policy/strategy.
• Has knowledge of structural drafting and design best practices, including interfaces with
mechanical piping, HVAC and electrical.
• Design activity will require knowledge of design principles and drafting procedure

Required Skills & Experience
An Associates degree in Structural Design (or similar) 3 years of experience in structural
drafting for heavy industrial, thermal power, nuclear industry or similar industries.
• OR at least 5 years of relevant work experience in structural drafting for heavy industrial,
thermal power, nuclear industry or similar industries.
• Minimum 3 years of experience using Revit for structural modeling
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-nuclear exp
-Work within a team environment to execute work plans and schedules as applicable for
mission success.
• Perform work in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Competency in computer programs and software such as Microsoft products and Microsoft
teams
• Advanced knowledge of Revit family creation
• Autodesk Inventor experience a plus
• Experience using Autodesk BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Experience using Autodesk Vault
