Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data & Reporting Analyst for a large industrial machinery client on a 6-month contract with potential for full-time conversion. This role supports Digital and Marketing teams by delivering data-driven insights, dashboards, and reporting solutions that improve decision-making, digital adoption, and business performance. The analyst will partner with Digital, Marketing, IT, Data Governance, and Data Quality teams to ensure reporting accuracy, data integrity, and actionable analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to support Digital and Marketing initiatives
- Analyze customer, market, and adoption data to identify trends and growth opportunities
- Translate business needs into reporting requirements, KPIs, and functional specifications
- Design reporting prototypes and Excel mockups for stakeholder review
- Produce and maintain recurring reports while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Investigate data discrepancies and improve reporting efficiency and usability
- Collaborate with IT, Data Governance, and Data Quality teams on data sourcing and validation
- Support user training, adoption, and testing for new reporting tools and dashboards
- Ensure analytics and reporting activities align with governance, privacy, and business standards

Required Skills & Experience

- Proven experience with data analytics and reporting.
- Working knowledge of analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI).
- Strong analytical thinking with a structured approach to problem‑solving and root cause analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
- High level of initiative and comfort operating hands‑on in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and focus on the highest‑value outcomes.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with digital, mobile, or eCommerce platforms.
- Strong data visualization skills and the ability to create reusable insight frameworks.
- Experience with MS Fabric, PowerQuery, and PowerPivot.
- Bilingual (English/French), written and verbal.
