Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a nuclear technologist to join a top automation company on a contract or permanent basis. This resource will be joining a nuclear engineering team, working with the design group, project manager, and end client to develop, test, and implement system solutions that meet the customer's process requirements. Responsibilities include supporting design reviews, learning the customer process, supporting the design and integration of systems/equipment and participating in the integration/commissioning/troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience in machine design/build, machine integrations, hands-on tooling and structured problem solving

Experience with automation tooling/equipment development and testing, as well as field support

Knowledge of SolidWorks (for troubleshooting and reading electrical and mechanical drawings)

Nuclear worker status comfortability (understand risks associated with working in the nuclear industry/work in radioactive environment including nuclear site work)

A post-secondary degree in Mechatronics, Systems Design, Electrical, electro-mechanical
