This role oversees a team of Controls Engineering Designers, ensuring the creation of high-quality electrical design packages and control solutions that align with customer specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities include supervising, mentoring, and assigning tasks to team members. The position involves collaborating with various engineering teams to support proposals, oversee projects from concept to completion, and enhance safety and functionality in design practices. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with automation design standards, approves material requisitions, and maintains budget and schedule forecasts while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

- 10+ years of experience in electrical control systems design, preferably in industrial automation
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Working knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, Solidworks Electrical, etc)
- Working understanding of regulations and standards that govern electrical safety in industrial automation on a global scale (UL 508A, NFPA 79, National Electrical Code, Europe 60204 and ISO standards)
