Job Description

As an Automation Technician for a leading automation company in Cambridge, Ontario, you will be responsible for commissioning new equipment for large-scale technical packaging machines in the e-commerce sector. Your core tasks include downloading and loading stable PLC programs (primarily Allen Bradley), configuring drives, setting up printers, cameras, and conducting I/O checks to ensure system functionality. While all systems are pre-programmed and documented, your expertise lies in executing final exception tests, troubleshooting, and maintenance support without modifying code by interpreting and understanding PLC logic for effective diagnostics.
