Job Description

Responsible for managing materials testing projects from inception to completion, ensuring safe delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This role encompasses a wide range of tasks, focusing on project planning, resource management, client engagement, and quality assurance. The position involves:
Proposal Preparation: Develop project proposals tailored to client needs, including scope, schedule, and cost estimates.
Project Management: Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgets, and forecasts.
Team Coordination: Work closely with technicians and other team members to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
Client Communication: Build strong relationships with clients by receiving requests, addressing concerns, and providing regular project updates.
Field & Office Balance: Spend 90% of the week in the office managing reports and plans, with 10% dedicated to field inspections and materials testing.
Operational Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve challenges that may arise during the course of the project to minimize delays.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and progress, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.
Safety Leadership: Lead safety efforts, including compliance with approved safety plans and promoting a culture of workplace safety.
Quality Control: Continuously monitor and ensure adherence to quality standards, engaging APRs during critical phases.
Financial Management: Handle financial aspects like invoicing, change orders, and collections, ensuring projects stay within budget.
Cradle-to-Grave Oversight: Manage every stage of the projectfrom initial planning and proposals to final delivery and client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

- BS, in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field
- 2+ years of strong construction materials or geotechnical experience (ex: civil engineering, DOT work, CMT field testing, geotechnical lab testing, etc

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- PE license or EIT
- BS in Civil Engineering
- ODOT (Oklahoma Dept of Transportation) experience
- PMP certification
- Any experience with data center projects
