Job Description
Ardent Health Services is seeking a Pharmacist I to join their team full-time at their Hillcrest Medical Center location. This position primarily focuses on providing direct patient care while also working across multiple clinical and operational settings. Duties include:
Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
Provide accurate and timely clinical consultation and medication information to healthcare staff and patients.
Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely.
Sustain the hospital formulary, minimizing non-formulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic interchanges and other approved formulary protocols and/or guardrails.
Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and staff; train and precept pharmacy students/residents.
Make appropriate evidence-based, patient-centered medication recommendations.
Participate in the management of medical emergencies as appropriate, including, but not limited to Code Blue.

Required Skills & Experience
-B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
-Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
-BLS & ACLS certification (BLS required within 90 days of hire; ACLS required for attending Code Blue).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
-1-year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
