Job Description

Overview: The Desktop Technician II plays a crucial role within the IT Depot Team, focusing on the preparation and deployment of computer devices for end users. This person will need to ensure the accurate configuration, coordination, and timely shipment of IT equipment, thereby supporting the overall IT onboarding process.
Primary Responsibilities:
Device Preparation and Configuration: Execute standard imaging and setup procedures to prepare computer devices for deployment.
Record Maintenance: Update and manage records within the Service Management platform to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the IT onboarding team to oversee logistics and guarantee the prompt shipment of devices to end users.
Device Management: Utilize Microsoft Intune and Active Directory for effective management of devices and user profiles.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide fundamental troubleshooting and support for hardware and software issues as required.

Compensation:
$19/hr to $22/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

- 12 years of experience in a desktop support or IT technician role preferred.
- Windows 11 operating systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Microsoft Intune
- Active Directory
- CompTIA A+ or similar certs
