Job Description
Translate electrical schematics and engineering documentation into practical manufacturing processes that enable efficient, high-quality production. Develop work instructions, create manufacturing routings, and provide hands-on troubleshooting support on the production line to resolve electrical issues and minimize downtime. Serve as the technical bridge between engineering design and manufacturing execution, supporting internal customers across departments to ensure seamless implementation of electrical systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• 70% - Implement, modify, test, and troubleshoot new and existing systems, including HMI and PLC software, electrical layouts, and technical documentation
• 20% - Drive continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction projects, NCR (Non-Conformance Report) resolution, and other manufacturing duties as required.
• 10% - Create and maintain documentation of existing systems.

Required Skills & Experience
• Engineering Degree - Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience related experience, or equivalent experience in HMI, PLC, and motion control troubleshooting
• Experience with PLC/HMIs, including Allen Bradley (RSLogix 500/5000) and Beckhoff/Codesys.
• Hands-on approach with willingness to work directly on the shop floor to diagnose and resolve production issues in real-time.
• Proficient in using electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, meggers) for diagnostics and hands-on experience with wiring, rewiring, and electrical assembly rework.
• Experience with DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly).
• Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 0-20% monthly; higher travel expected during initial onboarding period).
• Experience with troubleshooting electrical control systems and debugging issues on the production floor.
• Knowledge of IEC 61131-3 programming languages, specifically Structured Text and Ladder Logic (preferred not required)
