Job Description

The Structures Liaison Engineer will get alerted when there are new repair requests submitted on aircrafts under inspection. They are responsible for using their knowledge or doing research to come up with a solution. They will then create repair instructions for the mechanics to carry out. This engineer will be in charge of prioritizing the repairs as they are submitted. They will need to be a liaison between the stress engineers and mechanics. This position will pay $50 - $60hr depending upon years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree - Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Materials, or Structural Engineering
• 7-25 years of experience in Airframe Repair Instructions and Analysis
• Liaison experience dealing with hands on mechanics
• Structural Airframe repair experience
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Military background
• Familiarity with Boeing Drawing System
• Experience with FEMAP, PATRAN, or NASTRAN
• NAVAIR or Airforce experience
Knowledge of E-3, E-8, KC-135, and Boeing 707 aircrafts
