Insight Global is searching for a SQL Data Engineer to support the development and optimization of an internally built Master Data Management (MDM) platform. This role focuses on creating scalable, high-performance data pipelines and transformations using SQL and Databricks to manage essential master data for oil and gas wells. This is a hands-on position that requires deep expertise in Databricks and SQL, with the objective of architecting a sustainable MDM solution for long-term support.
Compensation:
$60-80/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

- Expertise in SQL: 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining SQL-based transformations and ETL pipelines.
- Experience with Databricks: Proficiency in using Databricks for data management and optimization.
- Data Pipeline Development: Ability to build scalable, high-performance data pipelines.
- Master Data Management (MDM): Knowledge of managing and curating master data entities.
- Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing Databricks notebooks, SQL queries, and Delta Lake processes for performance and scalability.
Collaboration: Experience working with data architects, integration resources, and business SMEs to build a high-quality MDM layer.
