Job Description

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Insight Global is seeking an Epic Principal Trainer to support a large academic healthcare system in Oklahoma. This individual will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality Epic training programs for end users aligned to certified modules such as Beaker, Radiant, and/or Cupid.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining training materials, lesson plans, and e-learning content; collaborating with application teams, training leadership, and adoption partners; and ensuring training environments remain aligned with Epic system updates. The trainer will lead both group and one-on-one training sessions, support end-user adoption, and provide coaching as needed.
Additional duties include coordinating training plans for new implementations or enhancements, estimating training needs, tracking training completion, assessing other trainers when applicable, and troubleshooting training-related issues. This role requires strong presentation skills, Epic module expertise, and a passion for enabling clinicians and staff to effectively use Epic in their day-to-day workflows.
Compensation: $77,948.68 and up based on experience

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Qualifications
• Completed bachelor’s degree
• Epic Certification(s) in one or more of the following modules:
○ Epic Beaker
○ Epic Radiant
○ Epic Cupid
• 3+ years of relevant clinical or IT experience supporting Epic or healthcare systems
• Experience developing, maintaining, and delivering Epic training materials
• Strong communication and teaching skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences
• Ability to develop and deliver formal instructor-led and virtual training sessions

Plusses
• Multiple Epic certifications across clinical or ancillary modules
• Prior experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, or optimization initiatives
