Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Electronic Warfare Self Protection Engineer to join the team of a large aerospace engineering/manufacturing company located Oklahoma City, OK. This person's main purpose will be collaborating with customers to develop, design, and validate complex electronic and electrical systems for the E-7A program with a focus on self-protection capabilities. Other responsibilities include:

- Design and develop hardware and interface specifications

- Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, aircraft certification requirements, and customer specifications

- Test and validate system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met

- Monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance

- Focus on hardware qualification and aircraft certification processes

Required Skills & Experience

- Active Secret Clearance

- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or related field (STEM)

- 3+ years of experience with electronic and electrical system design principles and testing/validating system designs to ensure requirements are met

- Strong knowledge of hardware qualification and aircraft certification processes

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Knowledge of warfare

- Familiarity with E-7A program and commercial derivatives
