Job Description
As a Avionics Systems Engineer on our team, you’ll have the chance to shape U.S. Air Force missions by leading engineering projects. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You will be helping with the program depot maintenance doing complete overhaul of aircrafts, ensuring timelines, and activities are correct. This will involve traveling 25% of the time to different sites during maintenance to ensure these activities are being performed correctly and on time.
Compensation:
$150,000 - $160,000 per year annual salary.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience with Mechanical Engineering with aircraft systems
Experience on E4 aircraft or 747 commercial derivative Aircraft
Knowledge of aircraft process and manufacturing
EDM Scheduling
FAA Airworthiness
Active Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with system testing and integration
Experience with aircraft systems modifications
Experience with Digital Engineering and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
Knowledge of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
Knowledge of U.S. Air Force acquisition processes
Knowledge of military specifications and standards
Knowledge of the U.S. Air Force Airworthiness process and Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E)
Top Secret clearance
Master's degree
