About the Role
Insight Global is seeking an Accountant (Fixed Assets & Capital Projects) to join a leading healthcare system in Oklahoma City. This individual will own the full lifecycle of fixed asset and capital accounting, from initial project tracking and invoice review through capitalization, depreciation, and ongoing asset maintenance.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing the end-to-end process while partnering cross-functionally with project managers and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the full-cycle fixed asset process, including asset setup, tracking, transfers, disposals, and depreciation
• Manage capital project accounting, partnering with project managers to monitor budgets, timelines, and spend
• Review and analyze invoices to determine proper capitalization vs. expense treatment
• Track capital spend from initiation through closeout, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Maintain and update fixed asset subledger and project records to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting related to fixed assets
• Monitor project and asset activity, providing visibility into financial status and variances
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows within fixed asset and capital accounting
• Support ERP/system enhancements (e.g., Workday) impacting fixed assets and project accounting
Day-to-Day
• Partner closely with project managers to track capital project activity and financial progress
• Review invoices and spending to ensure proper accounting treatment
• Manage fixed asset records and ensure accurate capitalization and depreciation
• Monitor incoming financial activity and maintain visibility into project and asset status
• Contribute to process improvements and support upcoming system/Workday initiatives
Compensation: $58k-$88k based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include available request

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle fixed asset accounting and capital projects
• Experience working in a corporate or large organization environment
• Strong Excel skills (reconciliations, tracking, data analysis)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Healthcare or hospital accounting experience
• Experience with Workday or similar ERP systems
• Exposure to system implementations or process improvements
• CPA or working toward CPA
