Job Description
Insight Global is searching for O&M Technicians to join a large utility provider in Oklahoma City.
O&M Technicians are responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of power generation facilities, performing a wide range of duties that include monitoring and operating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and generators; conducting water chemistry tests; identifying and responding to abnormal equipment conditions; and performing mechanical and electrical maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. They are expected to read and interpret technical drawings, use SAP/PM systems for documentation and equipment tracking, and comply with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and the use of personal protective equipment. All roles require strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a demonstrated commitment to an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) safety culture, along with successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, physical exams, and job-specific assessments.
Compensation:
$35-65/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
• Safety-sensitive clearance:

• Technical proficiency:
○ Familiarity with mechanical & electrical equipment (pumps, motors, valves, etc.)
○ Ability to monitor and analyze water chemistry (demineralized & cooling systems)
○ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
○ PLC system experience

○ Strong verbal and written communication
○ Ability to work professionally with teams and contractors

○ Knowledge of PPE and safety protocols
