Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an associate engineer technician to join their Enid Service Center. The essential functions of this role include: performing analytical tasks related to design, construction, maintenance, and operations of electrical power distribution facilities. Additionally, This individual will be creating designs for internal & external clients. The design process includes going to look at the job in the field, field staking, identifying proper design, and then creating the design using designated software. In this role, the associate engineer tech would also be creating work orders, job sketches, material lists, & cost estimates.

Compensation: 25/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors or associates degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Math or Physics
If associates degree: 2 years of design or utility distribution experience is required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous experience with electrical distribution
Softwares: ArcFM Designer & SPIDAcalc design program (used in this role for distribution lines)
Drafting/design experience
