Job Description

The Site Manager supports Enel North America’s renewable energy projects, including wind and solar, as part of the Owner’s Representative team. This role reports to the Area Construction Manager and Head of Construction NA and is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities. The Site Manager ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with design and quality standards. They act as the primary point of contact on-site, managing contractors and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the construction phase.

Compensation: $80/hr to $84/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Required Skills & Experience

- Construction site leadership experience within large-scale infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects (wind/solar strongly preferred)
- Strong safety background with ability to enforce safety protocols, Stop Work Authority, and environmental compliance
- End-to-end construction oversight, including contractor management, schedule tracking, and cost control
- Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure constructability and compliance
- Experience managing contractors and serving as the Owner’s representative on-site
- Strong project controls knowledge, including:
○ Schedule management and critical path tracking
○ Cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting
○ Risk identification and mitigation
- Quality oversight experience, including implementing QC plans and managing non-conformities
- Strong stakeholder management, including contractors, landowners, local authorities, and internal teams
- Experience with reporting and documentation, including tracking site progress, issues, and lessons learned

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Background in renewable energy (wind or solar) projects
- Experience working in an Owner’s Rep environment
- Familiarity with commissioning and handover processes (Provisional / Final O&M turnover)
- Exposure to logistics planning and supply chain coordination for construction sites
- Experience supporting or implementing construction innovation / digitization initiatives
- Prior involvement in pre-construction planning and cross-functional coordination (Engineering, HSE, Planning, Contracts)
- Experience building or mentoring site teams
