Job Description

As a Bridge Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design and structural analysis of highway bridges and related structures across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. Your day will include performing calculations, preparing detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation OpenRoads, and assisting with cost estimates and technical reports. You’ll support bridge inspections by applying fundamental engineering principles to evaluate conditions and ensure compliance with safety standards. Field work will be part of your responsibilities, where you’ll verify design accuracy and maintain project integrity.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
Bachelors in Civil Engineering
3+ years of experience with structural bridge engineering
Experience with MicroStation (OpenRoads) or AutoCAD (Civil3D)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
PE (professional engineer license) or EI (Engineering Intern)
Project Management experience
