Job Description
A facilities services company is seeking a High Voltage Electrician to support ongoing maintenance and infrastructure work at a military base in Columbus, OH. This is a large-scale campus environment (~100 buildings across 50–70 acres) requiring experienced electricians comfortable working with high voltage systems and full power shutdowns. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting large-scale facilities (military bases, manufacturing plants, or campuses).
Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high voltage electrical systems (600V+)
Support and execute planned power shutdowns across multiple buildings
Work with transformers and distribution systems powering a large campus
Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with site regulations
Contribute to ongoing infrastructure reliability across the base

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of electrical experience
Active Electrician License (Journeyman or Master preferred)
Hands-on experience with high voltage systems (600V+)
Experience supporting facility-wide shutdowns
Background in industrial, manufacturing, or campus environments
Ability to pass a background/drug check (required for base access)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
Background working with switchgear, substations, or distribution equipment (beyond just wiring/maintenance)
