Job Description

Day-To-Day: Insight Global is looking for a Sr Mechanical Piping Designer Engineer for one of our engineering consulting clients in Westlake, OH. This person will be working with lead engineers on projects, the designer will be drawing piping systems. They will need to be able to prepare and complete designs from general drawings and instructions for the project managers approval. This candidate will also need to perform complex design calculations under an engineers direction.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
12+ years of experience designing and drawing mechanical / piping design.
General knowledge of mechanical and electrical system design.
Utilization of Plant3D to design and layout processes.
Ability to use CADWorx to create 3D piping models.
Understanding and knowledge of applicable codes.
Proficient in the use of computer for design and understand CAD operations.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other agencies, and the client.
Proficient in the PC/windows environment with experience in e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.

Navisworks
Technical or Associates Degree
