IT Vendor Management

Manage the full lifecycle of IT vendors, including contract negotiation, renewals, compliance, and termination.
Lead strategic purchasing efforts with major enterprise software, hardware, and telecom vendors.
Negotiate and manage complex contracts, licensing agreements, and service terms to mitigate risk and optimize cost.
Oversee software and hardware license management, ensuring compliance and value realization.
Act as the primary point of contact for vendor audits, including preparation, response coordination, and resolution.
Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as needed to ensure contractual and service-level obligations are met.
Partner closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to ensure financial oversight and contract alignment.
Provide ongoing reporting and insights related to vendor spend, contract risk, and optimization opportunities.

Proven experience in IT vendor management, specifically managing enterprise‑level software, hardware, and telecom vendors.
Hands‑on experience negotiating complex IT contracts, including MSAs, licensing agreements, and renewals.
Expertise in license management and audit handling for large technology vendors.
Strong understanding of contract law as it applies to IT agreements.
Legal background strongly preferred, ideally a law degree (JD) or equivalent experience supporting complex contractual negotiations.
Experience managing high‑value vendor portfolios with financial accountability and executive‑level visibility.
Ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced environment with significant ownership and decision‑making responsibility.

Prior experience working with vendors such as Adobe, Microsoft, IBM, Broadcom, and telecom providers.
Experience partnering directly with internal legal teams or acting as a primary contract reviewer.
Background in IT finance, SAM/ITAM, or vendor risk management.
