Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to lead the implementation and deployment of a new Zscaler security platform across the enterprise. This individual will serve as the primary project leader, partnering with security, infrastructure, networking, and business stakeholders to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of critical cybersecurity initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background managing large-scale cybersecurity projects, with direct experience leading Zscaler implementations or migrations. Following the Zscaler deployment, this individual will have the opportunity to support additional security initiatives focused on Identity & Access Management (IAM), Microsoft Entra ID, and Vulnerability Management programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project management of a Zscaler implementation, including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate efforts between cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, cloud, and application teams.
- Facilitate project meetings, status updates, executive reporting, and governance reviews.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party implementation partners.
- Drive project execution while ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements.
- Support future cybersecurity initiatives related to:
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Vulnerability Management
- Security modernization and transformation efforts
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators.
- Maintain documentation, project artifacts, and implementation runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience

PMP or equivalent
6+ years of experience managing IT or Cybersecurity projects.
Hands-on experience leading or managing a Zscaler implementation, migration, or deployment project.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including:
- Zero Trust Architecture
- Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
- Network Security
- Identity and Access Management
- Vulnerability Management
Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
