Job Description

As the WMS Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Warehouse Management System to ensure it supports operational efficiency and business needs. Youll configure system parameters, define workflows, and create rules for inventory management. Your role includes maintaining and updating the system, resolving issues, and coordinating upgrades. Youll train users, develop support materials, and provide ongoing assistance. Additionally, youll analyze system data to identify trends and improve warehouse performance, while ensuring seamless integration with other systems like ERP. Youll also provide technical support to both the site team and customers, and lead the development and execution of test and project plans.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelors degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
-4+ years of experience in transportation or logistics or supply chain
-4+ years of experience in a similar WMS-focused role using Manhattan or Blue Yonder systems
-Strong technical skills and familiarity with warehouse operations
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Familiarity with best practices in inventory management and logistics
-Experience integrating WMS with ERP or order management systems
-Background in training users and creating training materials
-Ability to analyze data to identify trends and optimize inventory levels
