Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Google AppSheet Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining no-code and low-code applications using Google AppSheet to optimize workflows, improve business processes, and drive operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of AppSheet, Google Workspace, and related technologies, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Management & Administration
Manage and configure the Google AppSheet platform settings.
Oversee user access, permissions, and platform security. Set up and maintain user roles, permissions, and access control.
Ensure security, compliance, and governance of AppSheet applications
Monitor platform performance, usage, and licensing.
Manage platform upgrade. Provide technical support for AppSheet applications
Optimize workflows and automation to enhance efficiency.
Citizen Development Program Manager
Define and enforce governance policies for citizen development.
Align citizen development with business objectives
Collaborate with IT and business leaders to drive adoption and scalability
Monitor the performance and impact of citizen development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
Promote AppSheet adoption across teams.
Mentor and guide new citizen developers.
Share best practices, success stories, and use cases.
Organize workshops and training sessions
App Development and Support:
Design, build, and deploy scalable and user-friendly applications using Google AppSheet.
Integrate AppSheet applications with other platforms, such as Oracle EBS, and third-party APIs.
Regularly update and maintain existing applications to meet changing business needs.
Offer technical support for AppSheet and related tools.
Create a self-service knowledge base for FAQs.
Troubleshoot errors, bugs, and integration issues.
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies and propose solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Data Management and Integration:
Manage and structure data sources for AppSheet applications, including Google Sheets, Excel, SQL databases, and cloud-based storage.
Ensure seamless data synchronization and real-time updates across integrated platforms.
Support and Training:
Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues in AppSheet applications.
Train team members and stakeholders on AppSheet usage and best practices.
Organize training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Develop learning materials, guides, and tutorials.
Manage an internal forum or communication platform for citizen developers.
Recognize and reward top contributors in the community.
Foster a collaborative and innovative culture.
Optimization and Documentation:
Optimize application performance and user experience by leveraging AppSheet features effectively.
Document application workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for reference.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure applications comply with organizational security policies and data protection standards.
Implement access controls and permissions to safeguard sensitive information.
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical Skills:
Proven experience in building applications using Google AppSheet.
Strong understanding of Google Workspace tools (Google Sheets, Google Drive, Google Forms, etc.).
Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and SQL queries.
Familiarity with API integrations and workflow automation tools .
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in a similar role or working with AppSheet.
