Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Thermal Engineer to sit in Columbus, Ohio. Candidates will be supporting the new preventative maintenance portal for the clients customers. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver equipment health scorecards (measurement of potential failure) while creating scripts and remediation driven by data analytics and algorithms. They will review site reports and data trends and escalate to product subject matter experts for validation and resolutions. Once health scores are received, they will determine if immediate corrective action is required. The role is heavily involved in product performance monitoring, creating an algorithm to detect fault, and implementing procedures to ensure failure does not occur.

Salary: $120-140k

Required Skills & Experience

Experience in data center, critical power, SCADA Teams, Automotive industries
Data Analytics exposure
Prescribing/ Describing plan of action based on Equipment Data
Electrical Engineering Degree
AC power or Thermal equipment background
AC Generators, UPS's, Transformers, PDU's, Switchgears, Chillers, HVAC, Liquid Cooling

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in investigative, predictive, data analysis
Algorithm creation/ support for preventative maintenance
Root Cause Analysis experience: Knowledgeable in quality system processes, such as FMEA, Six Sigma.
Masters degree in EE and/or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
Quality Engineer experience
