Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to partner closely with a Technical Project/Program Manager in delivering complex, cross‑functional initiatives spanning IT systems, digital platforms, engineering tools, and enterprise applications. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and delivery leadership, translating project goals into clear, actionable system and data requirements.

The BSA will focus on requirements definition, systems analysis, process mapping, and solution validation, enabling the PM to execute schedules, milestones, and delivery governance effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Business Analysis
Partner with the Technical PM to elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and technical requirements across Vertiv initiatives (IT, product, engineering, manufacturing, service, or digital platforms).
Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to capture current‑state and future‑state system needs.
Translate high‑level initiatives, roadmaps, and program goals into user stories, use cases, functional specs, and acceptance criteria.
Trace requirements through the full delivery lifecycle to ensure alignment with scope, timelines, and outcomes.
Systems & Technical Collaboration
Act as a liaison between business users, architects, developers, data teams, and product owners.
Analyze system integrations, data flows, dependencies, and impacts across ERP, PLM, CRM, cloud platforms, IoT systems, or custom applications.
Support solution design by validating that proposed technical approaches meet business objectives.
Assist with data mapping, system configurations, workflows, and interface definitions where needed.
Delivery & PM Partnership
Work in lockstep with the Project/Program Manager to support project planning, backlog grooming, and milestone execution.
Identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and requirement changes early; surface findings to PM leadership.
Support Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models, including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Contribute to status reporting, change management, and cross‑team coordination.
Testing, Validation & Adoption
Develop and execute UAT plans, test cases, and validation scripts in collaboration with QA and business teams.
Ensure delivered solutions meet documented requirements and business outcomes.
Support change management, training documentation, and go‑live readiness.
Process Improvement
Map and optimize end‑to‑end business and system processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and data quality.
Identify opportunities for automation, system consolidation, or technical improvements.
Maintain standards for documentation, traceability, and governance.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical BSA, or Systems Analyst in complex enterprise environments.
Strong experience partnering with Technical Project or Program Managers on large initiatives.
Proven ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
Experience working with enterprise systems (ERP, PLM, CRM, data platforms, cloud solutions).
Comfortable working with engineering, development, and architecture teams.
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
