Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Help Desk Technician to support a 170‑user environment within a construction sales organization. This person will serve as a core member of a small IT team, responsible for troubleshooting all incoming tickets, supporting end users across office, HR, and shop floor environments, and assisting with the network and infrastructure that keeps the business running.
This role requires strong customer service skills, broad technical troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary Help Desk technician supporting 170+ internal users across multiple departments (HR, office staff, shop workers, remote employees).
• Manage, troubleshoot, and resolve all incoming IT support tickets from the organization.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service and clear communication to non‑technical users.
• Deploy and support Dell desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Support and administer SonicWall and Fortinet firewalls as needed.
• Troubleshoot networking issues related to Ubiquiti access points, Dell switches, and general LAN performance.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair office and shop printers.
• Support the broader IT environment, including the network infrastructure that keeps systems connected across locations.
• Collaborate closely with a small IT team while also taking ownership as an independent problem solver.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Experience
• 5+ years of experience in an IT Help Desk or Technical Support role.
• Hands‑on experience deploying Dell computers and workstations.
• Strong troubleshooting and administration experience with:
○ SonicWall firewalls
○ Fortinet firewalls
• Basic networking exposure, including troubleshooting:
○ Genetec (Genesis) systems
○ Ubiquiti networks
○ Dell routers and switches
• Active Directory experience, including password resets, group membership, and account administration.
• Strong background in printer support, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
