Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Product Manager for one of our Medical Device clients. This person MUST be able to go onsite in the Versailles, Ohio location a few times a week. The Product Manager will be Responsible for shaping and managing the overall digital program portfolio, strategy, roadmap, and vision related to the technology used by our internal partners and external customers through the use of design thinking, market assessments, customer research and business case development. They will be overseeing 5 Product Owners within the Commercial value stream and will be responsible for



Key responsibilities:

1. Agile Product Management:

o Shape the digital journey by managing the Epic and Feature backlog for multiple agile software delivery teams.

o Review and accept EPICs and Features completed by the development team.

o Create and manage Epics and features, including benefit hypotheses and key metrics for value delivery

o Maintains and forecasts the budget for the agile teams within the program -- helps develop roadmap and features with financials in mid

2. Customer Experience & Stakeholder Engagement:

o Share customer expectations and drive product vision through defined features in the program backlog

o Creates and maintains the metrics to ensure the solution(s) are creating the right value for the stakeholders

o Creates, maintains, and communicates the stakeholder value streams and utilize the streams to discover opportunities to create new end user value

3. Product Evaluation and Release:

o Evaluate features and functionality to ensure successful product releases.

o Engage with leadership, system architects, and product development teams to align with the product vision and roadmaps.

o Creates and maintains process flows, UML diagrams, and defines user acceptance tests

o Creates and manages charters within the OKR System

Required Skills & Experience

* 3+ years of Scrum Master or Product Owner experience: Has hands on practical experience with Epic and feature writing and how to write good features



* 5+ years of related work experience in Agile product development (SAFe ++)



*Product Management experience including:

* Proven experience creating and maintaining digital rich product roadmaps and program backlogs

* Experience leading multiple teams & having people leading experience (Having Product Owners reporting to them)

* Can work and manage business strategy across multiple business lines + Understands cross-functional business requirements + Strong ability to solicit information and aligning them with different workstreams -- having great conversations with them and delivering

* Understands spend and how to justify and manage costs -- (has helped plan strategy with those variables)



* Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience





SOFT SKILLS:

* Natural Leader: Ability to lead, direct and empower teammates without formal management authority

* People Skills: Strong consultative, listening, communication and analytical skills

* Business Acumen: Demonstrated experience translating business, stakeholder and customer needs and advocacy into products and/or solutions

* Communication Pro: Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Masters

* Product Management experience within a Commercial role such as Sales, Marketing, Professional Education/Learning Management and Customer Service

* Azure DevOps

* Salesforce

* Oracle

* SAFe product manager certification

* First or Second level Scrum Product Owner Certification (PSPO I/II)
