Job Description

A top aerospace client in the Dayton, OH area is looking to bring on a Product Support Engineer for a long term contract opportunity. This role will focus on Power Generation products for both Military and Commercial programs. Working closely with Design, Manufacturing, Testing, and Quality engineers, you will ensure the production and delivery of high-quality power generation products to aviation customers. Your expertise in electronics design and engineering will be essential in the design, development, modification, and evaluation of electronic parts and components for electronic equipment and hardware systems. The position requires hands-on collaboration with the manufacturing team on the production floor, so it will require you to be on site.

Responsibilities include conducting experimental tests, evaluating design approaches and parameters, analyzing equipment to establish operating data, and consistently maintaining proper documentation of technical data. Additionally, you'll provide engineering and technical support in the production environment, handling Engineering Change, Root Cause Corrective Analysis, Cost Analysis, and offering informal guidance to new team members.

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ as an electrical engineering within the power industry (Power conversion, power electronics, etc)
-Troubleshooting experience using tools such as oscilloscope, probes, power meter, multimeters, signal generator
-Hands on experience: spent time in the lab/production floor
-Knowledge of electrical power systems, and general power AC/DC conversation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- PCB (trace signals), Circuit card
- EMI/EMC
- DO-160 experience (vibe, acceleration, temperature, temperature variation, etc)
- Analog and Digital Design, or Microcontroller Design Experience
