Job Description
This role supports production operations by handling and processing plastic materials throughout the manufacturing cycle. Responsibilities include separating and sorting plastic sheets, boxing, labeling, and weighing inventory, and following a designated grinding schedule. The individual will load materials into grinding equipment to convert them into pellet form for reuse in sheet production, as well as perform machine teardown, cleaning, and maintenance. The role also involves staging materials for upcoming jobs and working closely with the production team to ensure efficiency and workflow continuity. Training will include exposure to additional production floor duties to build a comprehensive understanding of all positions and processes. Candidates must be comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and be able to perform other tasks as assigned by management while maintaining safety and operational standards.
Compensation:
$40,000 to $42,000 per year annual salary.

Required Skills & Experience
Forklift driving experience (stand-up double reach tow motor preferred)
Experience working in a warehouse or production environment
Ability to read and write
Ability to read a tape measure
Basic computer skills
Basic math proficiency
Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience using hand tools (hammer, circular saw, table saw, band saw, nail gun)
Ability to retain information and follow written safety procedures
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Eagerness to learn and grow within production operations
Experience with shipping, receiving, or inventory movement
