The Pharmacy Technician reports to the Pharmacy Operations Leader to support our Pharmacy Operations team. You will be an individual contributor, while working cross-functionality with other teams in the organization.

As a Pharmacy Technician at Truepill, you will play a vital role in supporting our Pharmacy Operations team by assisting pharmacists to enter prescription information, fill medications, maintaining patient confidentiality, and various tasks to provide exceptional patient care.

You will pick and fill medications according to pharmacy practice guidelines
Youll partner with pharmacists to address medication-related inquiries and assist patients effectively.
Youll pack medications following company procedures and medication safety requirements.
Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pharmacy operations and enhance patient experience.
You'll manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely and accurately fill prescriptions
You will adhere to pharmacy laws and regulations governing pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with company policies.
You will meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the manager upon employment to ensure operational efficiency.
Youll continuously enhance knowledge and skills in pharmacy technology and stay updated with industry trends.

Required Skills & Experience

You have 1+ years of experience as a licensed pharmacy technician
You have 1+ years of pharmacy dispensing experience
You possess an active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license within your state of residence.
You are competent in pharmacy law pertaining to technicians and adherence to regulatory requirements.
You have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
You are proficient in technology and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
You have the ability to stand for long periods, work at a computer screen for extended durations
You possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and assist patients professionally.

Experience working in a high volume pharmacy setting
