Job Description
Our client in Perrysburg, OH is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the shop floor,
Project Managers, and Quality department. This role is critical to ensuring all areas of
production run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Work directly with and support the Plant Supervisor, Foreman, Shipping Manager,
Project Managers, Quality and Safety Management to improve manufacturing
processes and ensure all areas run eƯiciently.
Monitor and evaluate costs, quality, and service with a hands-on, boots on the floor
approach.
Improve lead times with eƯective scheduling and asset utilization
Communicate daily with managers to find potential issues and proactively address
them
Maintain employee retention by addressing issues quickly, identifying training
opportunities, and providing continuous feedback on workmanship
Maintain safety and quality standards, encouraging others to do the same
Research and analyze new market opportunities, improve current customer
relationships, and serve as the first point of contact for new customers
Continuously find ways to improve product quality and reduce waste/scrap.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
Extensive knowledge of job shop and production environments
Strong working knowledge of mills, lathes, and other manufacturing equipment
Strong familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements
Proficient with Mastercam, JobBoss, and Microsoft software
Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing
