Job Description

An Insight Global customer is seeking to hire a Chief of Staff for their technical operations department. This department has over 500 people and is responsible for advanced product research and implementing new technologies into production. The ideal candidate for this role will have close to a decade of leadership experience in manufacturing environments in the semiconductor, chemical, material science or similar industries. They must possess a strong understanding of advanced manufacturing engineering, quality, finance, safety, facilities and R+D. The goal of this role is to keep department initiatives organized and on-track, create systems for process inefficiencies, aid in data collection and reporting, and identify and solve other miscellaneous department issues to ensure all priorities are being met. It is required that this person is located in the Toledo, OH area and there is the potential for relocation assistance for this role. We can offer a salary range between $128,400 to $185,000 but exact compensation can vary based on education and years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 8 to 15 years or leadership experience at a manufacturing facility in the semiconductor, chemical or material science industries.
- Experienced with running and improving processes and systems for a manufacturing facility including engineering, production, quality, finance, facility, safety, R+D, etc.
- Experienced with SPC tools.
- Experienced with data collection and management tools.
- Proven ability to keep organizations on track, organized and reduce inefficiencies in systems or processes.
- Strong organization skills.
Willingness to go against the grain, fight organizational inertia, to keep the department on track with a wide range of priorities.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Master's degree in an engineering discipline or business
