Operations Engineer

An employer in Oxford Ohio is seeking an Operating Engineer. This person is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and preventive servicing of building infrastructure, including HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, water cooling systems, pumps, piping, and associated mechanical and electrical equipment. Oversees HVAC repairs and preventive maintenance programs, reviews system logs, identifies equipment issues, and reports malfunctions to ensure reliable operation. Manages building inventories by maintaining adequate tools and supplies, submitting purchase requests, and monitoring equipment and material conditions. Oversees and coordinates work performed by contractors and vendors within the facility. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate infrastructure documentation, identifying and remediating safety hazards, and administering safety training programs to provide a safe working environment for building occupants and staff.

3+ years of experience facility related work experience, including customer service, leadership and supervisory experience
Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes.
Understands aspects of construction planning and execution.
Exposure to HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation.

Managerial experience preferred
