Job Description

Day to day:

The Project Manager is responsible for the entire successful execution of a project. Their primary responsibilities are to plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities concerned with the construction of their project. The Project Manager shall also participate and at times lead the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, estimating, scheduling, and implementation

Lead full-cycle project execution, from planning and budgeting to delivery and closeout.
Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and financial targets.
Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring satisfaction and proactive communication.
Oversee design coordination, estimating, procurement, and construction activities.
Direct labor planning, material logistics, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor project performance, quality, safety, and risk mitigation.
Manage billing, reporting, and change control processes.
Recruit, train, and lead project teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Ensure adherence to internal project management standards
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive results.

Required Skills & Experience

Must haves:
· Bachelors degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management or similar experience.
· 10 + years of direct work experience in any of these areas: construction management, data centers, or structured cabling environment.
· Track record of delivering mission critical programs on time, within budget, and to applicable build, quality, and safety standards.
· Must be able to meet Motor Vehicle Record requirements
· Proficient with Microsoft Office
Understanding of program management fundamentals such as earned value management, SPI, CPI and other project tracking metrics.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
· Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
BICSI RCDD or similar Telecommunications certifications
