Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an IT Project Coordinator for IT/POS New Stores & Remodel Coordinator. As part of the Stores & Connected Platforms team, you align partners and communicate progress for new stores and remodels, so teams stay informed and on track for opening day. You connect Store Operations, Construction, fulfillment, and Technology teams to share timelines, clarify expectations, and coordinate smooth handoffs. You establish clear communication cadences, provide regular status and milestone updates, surface risks and dependencies early, and route questions or issues to the right teams for follow-up. Your focus is to keep stakeholders aligned with the information and coordination needed to deliver a consistent, ready-to-operate store experience.
What will you be doing?
• Align Store Operations, Construction, and Technology partners for assigned new stores and remodels by communicating timelines, milestones, and expectations
• Coordinate readiness conversations by gathering inputs, capturing requirements, and sharing the right information to support planning and execution
• Communicate needs and status with fulfillment and technology teams by tracking progress and sharing clear updates on readiness, schedule, and scope changes
• Facilitate partner touchpoints and handoffs by confirming next steps, documenting decisions, and reinforcing what is needed and when
• Coordinate field and partner activities by aligning on access and schedules, communicating completion updates, and tracking follow-ups
• Track readiness check-ins by coordinating validation touchpoints, capturing outcomes, and routing follow-up items to closure
• Communicate opening and go-live status by sharing updates, facilitating escalations to the appropriate teams, and tracking issues through resolution
• Establish communication cadences (standups, check-ins, recaps) and share concise updates on milestones, risks, dependencies, and upcoming actions with business and technology partners
• Coordinate partner deliverables and supporting documentation (as applicable) by collecting approvals and records and sharing them with the right stakeholders
• Document and share reusable guidance (checklists, timelines, partner guides, readiness summaries) and communicate opportunities to improve handoffs, clarity, and repeatability across

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years supporting retail store technology, POS, or field/operations IT (new store openings and/or remodels preferred)
Retail store technology or POS support experience – Hands-on experience supporting retail store technology, POS systems, or field/operations IT, including readiness checks and go-live coordination
Strong organization and tracking skills – Proficiency with documentation, spreadsheets, project trackers, and ticketing systems to track readiness, risks, dependencies, and follow-ups.
Understanding of connectivity and site readiness concepts – Familiarity with networking/connectivity as it relates to store technology and opening readiness.
Experience with enterprise tools – Experience using Smartsheet and/or ServiceNow for tracking and coordination

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CAPM or practical certifications like the Google Project Management Certificate are strong complements
Foundational IT certifications such as CompTIA ITF+ or A+
