Insight Global's large Commercial Trucking client is seeking a skilled Facilities Process Engineer to join their team in Springfield, Ohio. The position is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing facility processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and operational efficiency. This role focuses on maintaining legal and safety requirements, improving performance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities across equipment and processes.
About the plant:
International Motors is a Class 4-8 Vehicle Manufacturer of commercial grade trucks. The following trucks are built at the Springfield Assembly Plant (SAP): the CV-GM Vista Light Duty (Commercial Vocational); the MV-Medium Duty (Medium Vocational); and the HV-Heavy Duty (Heavy Vocational). We have a cab assembly and stamping facility; a paint facility; an assembly plant and a Truck Specialty Center nearby.

Required Skills & Experience
Must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or a related field)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in process engineering within a facilities environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial maintenance setting
○ Working with machinery & equipment related to: wastewater treatment, conveyors, industrial water treatment, concrete, high voltage power distribution etc.
- Hands-on experience with electronic control systems
Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools (ability to model and simulate equipment performance and operational processes over time)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
- Experience in automotive manufacturing
- Experience working in a waste water treatment facility
